The King Has One More Move
When the enemy seems to have the advantage, God is still moving. The King has one more move, and He will avenge His people speedily.
There are times when it feels like the enemy is moving in everything. May mga pagkakataon na parang ginagawa ng kaaway ang lahat ng kaya niyang gawin para guluhin, i-discourage, at i-frustrate ang mga anak ng Diyos.
But even in everything we are facing, we still have victory.
Stand Still And See The Salvation Of The Lord
Let us read from Exodus 14.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14
Are you aware of that, mga kapatid?
The Lord is fighting for us.
Ang Diyos ay nakikipaglaban para sa atin. Hindi tayo nag-iisa. Hindi tayo iniwan ng Panginoon sa gitna ng digmaan. The Bible says, “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
There are moments when God tells His people, “Fear not.” Huwag kang matakot. Stand still. Tumayo ka lang sa pananampalataya. Tingnan mo ang kaligtasan ng Panginoon na Kanyang ipapakita sa iyo.
The Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.
There are enemies, situations, pressures, and battles that God can end in such a way na hindi mo na sila muling makikita gaya ng dati.
He Will Avenge Them Speedily
Let us also read Luke 18.
“And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.” Luke 18:6-8
The Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge saith.”
And then He asked, shall not God avenge His own elect? Hindi ba ipaghihiganti ng Diyos ang Kanyang mga anak? Hindi ba kikilos ang Diyos para sa Kanyang mga pinili who cry day and night unto Him?
The Bible says, He will avenge them speedily.
Hallelujah.
This is something impressed in my heart, because talagang kailangan po natin ito. The enemy is doing everything he can para tayo ay ma-discourage, maguluhan, ma-frustrate, and for our faith to go down.
But there is a God.
God is alive, and the Bible tells us that He will do something.
Vengeance Belongs To The Lord
Romans 12:19 says:
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves.
Minsan nagagalit tayo. Minsan nasasaktan tayo. Minsan gusto nating tayo na ang gumawa ng paraan. Gusto nating tayo na ang gumanti, tayo na ang magsalita, tayo na ang magtuwid.
But the Word of God says, give place unto wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Vengeance belongs to the Lord.
The Lord is fighting for us.
Hindi tayo tinawag na maging bulag sa mga nangyayari sa bansa natin, sa buong mundo, at sa paligid natin. We can see how the enemy is trying to move. Nakikita natin kung paano niya sinusubukang guluhin ang mga anak ng Diyos.
Tayo lang naman talaga ang gusto niyang atakihin. The people of God are the target of the enemy.
But our King is doing something.
Vengeance belongs to the Lord.
Let me preach on this subject today: The King Has One More Move.
The Enemy Knows His Time Is Short
Dahilan sa alam ng kaaway na ang kanyang panahon ay masyado nang maiksi, the enemy is trying to do his very best just to discourage the people of God.
He tries to do something that will stop the Master’s plan in our lives. There are times na parang nararamdaman natin, “Hindi na ito normal.” Parang ang bigat. Parang may spiritual pressure. Parang may gumagalaw na hindi natin agad maipaliwanag.
But we need to remember: the enemy may be moving, but God is also moving.
The enemy may be trying to delay, disturb, and defeat, but the Lord has not stopped working.
The Chess Painting Called Checkmate
There is a story about a painting. Ang title ng painting ay Checkmate.
Sa painting na iyon, makikita mo ang isang chess game. Parang ang kalaban ng tao ay ang devil. The devil was smiling. Nakangiti siya, because it seemed like he had the man in checkmate.
Sa chess, kapag sinabing checkmate, tapos na. Wala nang move. Wala nang paraan. The king is trapped. The game is over.
So in that painting, the devil seemed to be the obvious victor. Parang siya na ang panalo. Parang wala nang magagawa ang tao. Parang tapos na ang laban.
But there was a chess grandmaster who looked closely at the painting.
Hindi lang niya tiningnan nang mabilis. Pinag-aralan niya ang arrangement ng pieces sa chess board. Tiningnan niya kung nasaan ang king, nasaan ang kalaban, ano ang possible moves, at ano ang sitwasyon ng game.
And while he was studying the painting, the grandmaster realized something.
The man who seemed to be losing was not really losing.
He was in fact not yet defeated.
Why?
Because according to the arrangement of the chess board, the king still had one more move.
May isa pang pagkilos na pwedeng gawin ang king. May isa pang move na pwedeng magbago ng buong laro. If that move was made in the right direction, the one who seemed defeated could still become the winner.
The grandmaster called the creator of the painting and said that the title Checkmate did not fit the scene.
Hindi bagay ang title.
Why? Because it was not yet checkmate. The enemy looked confident, but he had not really won. The man looked defeated, but he was not yet finished.
The king still had one more move.
Ganun din sa buhay natin.
Minsan parang obvious na panalo na ang kaaway. Minsan parang nakangiti na siya sa sitwasyon natin. Minsan parang sinasabi niya, “Tapos ka na. Wala ka nang magagawa. Checkmate ka na.”
Minsan dahil sa problema, discouragement, pressure, sickness, pain, accusation, o mga pangyayaring hindi natin maunawaan, parang wala na tayong susunod na hakbang. Parang ubos na ang lakas. Parang wala na ang pag-asa.
But the message of the Lord today is this:
The King has one more move.
Our King is not finished.
Hindi nauubusan ng pagkilos ang Panginoon. Hindi Siya nauubusan ng pamamaraan. Hindi Siya nauubusan ng pwedeng gawin.
Kung sa paningin natin parang talo na tayo, sa paningin ng Diyos hindi pa tapos ang laban.
Kung sa paningin ng kaaway parang hawak na niya ang sitwasyon, hindi niya hawak ang huling salita.
The King still has one more move.
God Is Not Finished With You
Sometimes our lives seem like that painting.
Parang nakapako na tayo sa sitwasyon. Parang nakapalibot na ang problema. Parang lahat ng daan sarado. We look at ourselves and we know we cannot do it on our own.
Alam natin wala tayong magagawa sa ating sarili. Alam natin hindi natin kayang magtagumpay sa ating sariling lakas. Kung tayo lang, babagsak tayo. Mabibigo tayo. Mahihirapan tayo.
But still, with God on our side, anong laban ng kalaban sa atin?
God is not finished with you.
The battle is not through yet. Hindi pa tapos ang laban. God is still working on you.
What It Means When God Moves
To move means to change, to progress, to put in motion, to exhibit great activity or energy, and to initiate something.
Ang Diyos natin ay buhay.
Naniniwala ba kayo na ang Diyos natin ay buhay? Naniniwala ba kayo na ang Diyos natin ay aktibong kumikilos sa ating kapanahunan ngayon?
I believe God is alive in this church. I believe God is not sleeping.
We have come this far to see that great is the Lord, and He is greatly to be praised. Hindi nagkulang ang Panginoon sa atin.
Even when the devil tries to twist our minds, even when the enemy tries to disturb our faith, still our God is moving.
Jesus said:
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
Kasama natin ang Panginoon.
The earth is the Lord’s. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool. Gaano man kalaki ang lugar, gaano man kalawak ang sitwasyon, still the Lord is with us.
The Holy Ghost Is The Spirit That Moves
The Holy Spirit is also called the Holy Ghost.
Ang Holy Ghost ay hindi multo. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God that moves.
Gumagalaw Siya. Kumikilos Siya. May ginagawa Siya sa ating buhay.
The enemy is also spirit, and he is constantly trying to defeat and delay the moving of God’s Spirit, God’s Word, and God’s will in our lives.
The enemy tries to use every situation, every circumstance, and every pressure para tayo ay lumayo sa plano ng Diyos. He wants to pull us away from the purpose of God.
But we need to remember: may masterpiece ang Panginoon sa buhay mo.
May plano ang Diyos sa buhay mo.
Hindi lamang sa pastor. Hindi lamang sa leaders. Maging sa iyo, kapatid, individually, may master plan ang Panginoon.
The enemy wants to disturb that plan. Minsan nananalo siya because we allow him. We allow him to influence our outlook, our faith, and our hope.
But the battle is not over.
God is still working on you.
God Has A Plan Even When We Do Not Understand
The enemy tries to launch preemptive strikes against God by attempting to abort the plan of God before it comes to pass in our lives.
He wants to stop what God is doing.
But lahat tayo pinili ng Panginoon. Walang aksidente. Alam ng Diyos ang lahat ng bagay. Hindi mo man maintindihan ang katabi mo, hindi mo man maintindihan ang mga nangyayari sa paligid mo, may plano ang Panginoon.
Romans 8:28 reminds us:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” Romans 8:28
We know that all things work together for good.
God is doing something for His perfect will to come to pass.
Minsan iniisip natin na wala na tayong magagawa because of our limited understanding, personal problems, and difficult situations. But that is not true.
The Lord still has a plan in our lives.
Pharaoh Marched After Them
In Exodus 14, Israel had already come out of Egypt.
They had already experienced deliverance. Nakalabas na sila mula sa pagkaalipin. They had seen the hand of God. They had seen miracles. They had seen how the Lord delivered them.
But Pharaoh and his army marched after them.
Merong humahabol sa kanila. Merong sumusunod sa kanila. The enemy wanted to bring them back to the place they had already left.
Ganun din tayo minsan.
The Lord already saved us. The Lord already delivered us. The Lord already brought us out. Dati tayong makasalanan. Dati wala tayong direksyon sa buhay. Dati sumusunod lang tayo sa agos ng mundo, hindi natin alam na papunta tayo sa kapahamakan.
But thank God for the Word. Thank God for the ministry. Thank God for the Spirit of the Lord that moved in our lives. Thank God for the preaching of the Word of God.
Nagkaroon tayo ng direksyon. Nagkaroon tayo ng buhay. Nagkaroon tayo ng kaligtasan.
But still, the enemy does not stop.
Hangga’t wala pa tayo sa promised land, hangga’t nagpapatuloy pa tayo, gumagawa pa rin ang kaaway upang tayo ay ma-discourage at maibalik sa dati.
Fear Not, Stand Still
When Israel saw the Egyptians coming after them, they cried unto the Lord. They were afraid. They even said it would have been better to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.
But God gave a word.
Fear not.
Stand still.
See the salvation of the Lord.
That was a move of God.
May mga pagkakataon na takot tayo. May mga pagkakataon na parang wala na tayong daan. May dagat sa harap, may kaaway sa likod, at parang wala nang exit.
But God says, “Fear not. Stand still. See My salvation.”
Maybe you are saying, “I cannot do it anymore.”
But the Lord is encouraging us today:
I will fight for you, My child.
I will fight for you, My son.
I will fight for you, My daughter.
Fear not. Stand still. See My salvation.
Go Forward
Then the Lord said to Moses:
“Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.” Exodus 14:15
Go forward.
Just go forward.
May discouragement? Go forward.
May negative situation sa buhay mo? Go forward in the Lord.
May kahirapan? May nararamdaman kang bigat? Go forward.
The command of God is forward march.
Patuloy ka lang. Magpatuloy ka lang.
God gave us the armor of God. From the head down, may ibinigay ang Panginoon para tayo ay makalaban. Hindi tayo pinabayaan ng Diyos na walang proteksyon.
God can make, and will make, a way even when there seems to be no way.
Ang Diyos gagawa ng kaparaanan because He is fighting for us. He is fighting for you. He is fighting for us to have victory.
We Need The Moving Of God
Ang Diyos ay hindi natutulog.
The Lord is doing something. In this time, we are called to watch and pray. The moving of God is what we need in these times.
We do not only need our own strength. We do not only need our own plans. We need the move of God.
When God moves, situations change. Hearts change. Doors open. Enemies fall. Seas part. Prayers are answered.
The King has one more move.
Men Ought Always To Pray
Luke 18 begins this way:
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Luke 18:1
Men ought always to pray and not to faint.
Prayer is a battlefield.
Maging ang prayer life natin ay nilalabanan ng kaaway. He wants us to stop praying. He wants us to faint. He wants us to lose heart.
But Jesus teaches us to keep praying.
Pray and do not faint.
Pray without ceasing.
May pribilehiyo, kapangyarihan, at potensyal ang ating panalangin.
When we work, we work. But when we pray, God works.
Kapag tayo ay nagtatrabaho, yes, nagtatrabaho tayo. May nagagawa tayo. But when we pray, ang Diyos ang gumagawa para sa atin.
Prayer is one of the greatest forces on earth. There is nothing more powerful than a praying child of God.
There is nothing that can stop a man or woman of God who knows how to intercede and pray.
Your prayers have the power to heal your past and shape your future.
The Widow And The Unjust Judge
Jesus told a parable about a widow in a city who came to an unjust judge.
She said:
“Avenge me of mine adversary.” Luke 18:3
Ipaghiganti mo ako sa aking kalaban.
She came to the judge again and again. The judge did not fear God. He did not regard man. Wala siyang takot sa Diyos, and he did not care about people.
For a while, ayaw niya siyang tulungan.
But the widow kept coming.
Paulit-ulit siyang lumalapit. Paulit-ulit siyang humihingi ng tulong. Paulit-ulit niyang dinadala ang kanyang request.
And finally, the unjust judge said:
“Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” Luke 18:4-5
Sabi niya, dahil kinukulit ako ng babaeng ito, ipaghihiganti ko na lang siya.
It pays to be persistent.
May halaga ang patuloy na pagdulog sa Panginoon. If an unjust judge can respond to persistence, how much more our just and righteous God?
The Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge saith.”
If even an unjust judge eventually answered, shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night unto Him?
Continue Crying Unto God
The message is simple: magpatuloy tayo sa pagdulog sa Panginoon.
Magpatuloy tayo sa pananalangin.
Magpatuloy tayo sa pagtawag sa Diyos.
There are times when the answer does not come immediately. There are times when we feel tired. There are times when we feel like heaven is silent.
But do not stop praying.
Do not faint.
Your prayer is not wasted. Your tears are not wasted. Your cries are not ignored.
God sees.
God hears.
God will answer.
God’s Delays Are Not God’s Denials
Sometimes we feel that God is delayed according to our time.
Medyo matagal sa paningin natin. Parang hindi Siya kumikilos sa panahon na gusto natin.
But God’s delays are not God’s denials.
In everything, there is a season. God has a proper time for everything.
There is an appointed time for the answer. There is an appointed time for the vision. There is an appointed time for the move of God.
The word “avenge” means to rectify. It means to make right. It means to vindicate. It means to reimburse. It means God will do what only He can do.
God is going to rectify.
God is going to vindicate.
God is going to repay.
Lahat ng panalangin mo, lahat ng luhang pumatak, lahat ng pagpupuri mo, lahat ng kamay na itinaas mo sa pagsamba, lahat ng sacrifices mo, nakikita ng Panginoon.
Hindi magiging walang kabuluhan ang mga sacrifices mo.
The sacrifice of a broken spirit and a broken heart, the Lord will notice.
He will avenge. He will do something good for you. There will be an answer to your prayers.
God Can Answer Speedily
Do you believe that God has an answer to your prayer?
May sagot ang Panginoon diyan.
And when God answers, it can happen so fast that even the enemy becomes confused. It can happen speedily. Sobrang bilis ng pagkilos ng Panginoon.
The Bible says He will avenge His people speedily.
Let that sink in.
May mga bagay na nagaganap sa buhay natin. Posibleng alam mo. Posibleng hindi mo alam. Posibleng nararamdaman mo lang na may ginagawa ang kaaway.
May personal battles. May family battles. May church battles. May national concerns. May mga bagay sa mundo na nakakabigat sa pananampalataya.
But let me tell you, ang Diyos natin ay buhay.
Nakikita Niya ang anumang sitwasyon natin. Alam Niya ang ating pinagdadaanan.
Vengeance belongs to our God.
He said, “I will repay.”
Though It Tarry, Wait For It
Habakkuk 2 says:
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come…” Habakkuk 2:2-3
The vision is yet for an appointed time.
At the end, it shall speak and not lie.
Though it tarry, wait for it.
Just wait, because it will surely come.
May mga bagay na parang delayed, pero hindi ibig sabihin denied. May mga sagot na parang matagal, pero hindi ibig sabihin nakalimutan na ng Diyos.
Wait for it.
It will surely come.
Call Unto Me
Jeremiah 33:3 says:
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto Me, and I will answer thee.
That is the promise of God.
He will answer. He will show great and mighty things which we do not know.
There are things we cannot understand right now. May mga bagay na hindi natin agad makita. May mga sitwasyon na parang puro sakit, puro pressure, puro tanong.
But God knows what He is doing.
Call unto Him.
He will answer.
Be Not Weary
Galatians 6:9 says:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9
Be not weary in well doing.
Do not grow tired in doing what is right. Do not faint. Do not give up.
In due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.
May due season. May panahon. May appointed time. May sagot ang Diyos.
A time will come when you will be dancing, rejoicing, and praising the Lord for the breakthrough He is about to give to you.
Just hang on.
The Burden Of This Season
There is a burden in my heart for the church.
Some of you here, and even in my own family and personal life, it seems like the enemy is trying to do something in this generation. Nakikita natin ang mga nangyayari sa buhay, sa mundo, sa bansa, at sa paligid natin.
Parang ang gulo. Parang ang bigat. Parang hindi na simple ang mga nangyayari.
Ayaw kong pumasok sa pulitika, but we know that what happens around us can affect us. Damay tayo diyan. Our faith can be influenced by what we see and hear.
The enemy uses situations. He uses stress. He uses pressure. He uses confusion. He uses the things happening in the world to add burden to the people of God.
That is why I am praying for God’s intervention.
I am praying for God’s move in our lives and in our time.
Maybe we cannot understand everything immediately, but let us allow the Lord to speak to us.
The King Is Not Out Of Moves
Take note: our King, the Lord Jesus Christ, is not running out of moves.
Hindi Siya nauubusan ng pagkilos.
Hindi Siya nauubusan ng pamamaraan.
Hindi Siya nauubusan ng gagawin.
He can see what needs to be done. He knows how to move. He knows when to move. He knows what to move.
Even upon the church, even upon us, the Lord can see us through and will see us through.
Hindi ko man maipaliwanag lahat, and sometimes the heart feels broken, but we are not forsaken.
Hindi tayo iniiwan ng Panginoon.
Hindi Niya tayo pinababayaan.
Kasama natin Siya.
When It Feels Like We Are Always Losing
There are moments when we pray, “Lord, parang lagi na lang kaming lugi. Parang lagi na lang kaming api. Parang kami na lang ang nasasaktan.”
May mga sitwasyon na parang hindi patas. May mga bagay na parang wala tayong magawa. May mga bagay na alam nating pinahintulutan ng Diyos, pero masakit pa rin.
And we can be honest before the Lord.
“Lord, what is this that You are allowing?”
Alam natin na pinapanood ng Diyos ang lahat. Alam natin na walang nakakalampas sa Kanya. But still, these things hurt.
That is why we bring them to God.
Bring Every Burden To The Lord
Meron bang bagay sa buhay mo ngayon na nais mong idulog sa Panginoon?
Meron bang nais mong hingin na tulong sa Diyos?
Meron bang sitwasyon na hindi mo maintindihan?
May problema ba?
May kahirapan ba?
May kasalanan ba?
May kapatawaran ba na kailangan mong tanggapin?
May kabiguan ba?
Parang ang puso mo ba ay basag na basag ngayon?
Itaas natin sa Panginoon ang lahat ng bagay na iyan.
Ibigay natin sa Panginoon sa oras na ito.
In everything, there is a season. May panahon sa lahat ng bagay.
Open your heart to the Lord today. Open your mind to the Lord today. He wants to fill you with His Spirit.
Let the Holy Ghost move in your life.
Worship While Waiting
Sometimes we do not know how to explain what we feel. Sometimes words are limited. Minsan hindi maayos ang pagkakasabi natin, but the burden is real.
When you cannot explain everything, worship.
When you do not understand everything, worship.
When the enemy seems to be moving, worship.
When your heart feels broken, worship.
When you are waiting for God’s answer, worship.
The King still has one more move.
The Message For Today
The enemy may be trying to discourage you.
The enemy may be trying to delay the will of God.
The enemy may be trying to disturb your mind, your faith, your family, your ministry, or your peace.
But the Lord is saying today:
Fear not.
Stand still.
See the salvation of the Lord.
Go forward.
Pray and do not faint.
Wait for it.
Call unto Me.
Do not be weary.
I will avenge speedily.
The battle is not over. The story is not finished. The enemy has not won.
The King has one more move.
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, speak to us plainly and clearly.
Ikaw ang dakilang Diyos na patuloy na kumikilos sa aming buhay. Help us understand Your workings, even the things You are allowing in our lives today.
Tulungan Mo kaming maunawaan what thus saith the Lord for this time.
Bless Your servant, Lord. You know I am nothing, and I can do nothing without You. Take control in this moment.
Bless Your people once again. Let us never fail to give You praise and glory.
Lord, we know the enemy is trying to move in many ways. He is trying to discourage, confuse, frustrate, and weaken Your people. But we believe that You are alive. We believe that You are moving. We believe that You are fighting for us.
Teach us to stand still and see Your salvation. Teach us to go forward when You command us to move. Teach us to pray and not faint.
Tulungan Mo kaming magpatuloy sa pagdulog sa Iyo. Help us cry day and night before You, knowing that You hear Your own elect.
Lord, every tear, every sacrifice, every broken prayer, every lifted hand, every burden, You see it all.
We believe that vengeance belongs to You. We believe You will repay. We believe You will rectify, vindicate, restore, and answer according to Your appointed time.
Whatever situation we cannot understand, whatever pain we cannot explain, whatever burden feels too heavy, we bring it before You.
Let the Holy Ghost move in our lives.
Move in our church.
Move in our families.
Move in our generation.
And remind us that even when the enemy thinks it is checkmate, our King still has one more move.
